"Notes From
the Guestbook"

Margot, it was a pleasure all around!
Your home was much prettier and cozier than I expected - the antiques, the colors, the original art - and everything was immaculate!
And you and Hugo are both a delight!
I have already recommended you to some friends who've said "I've always thought it would be fun to go wine-tasting in Paso..."
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us - Laura

Margot: Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasurable. This was out 1st B&B and now we're hooked. Your breakfasts were incredible and your hospitality was outstanding. We will definately be back to see you. Thanks for everything.
Steve and Donna

Lovely home, lovely gardens, lovely breakfasts, but what makes it is the lovely innkeeper.
Thanks Margot! Wendy

Margot, thank you so much for your gracious hospitality, extensive local knowledge of wine and food, and Mr. Hugo, who will be quite the gentleman host one day.

A little bit about the Innkeeper
Margot was born in Geneva, Switzerland and immigrated to the USA many years ago. However, French was her primary language so she still speaks that as well as some Spanish. She has resided in Geneva and Lausanne, Switzerland; Beverly Hills, CA; Atherton, CA; Sun Valley, ID., and now Paso Robles. She's a U. of CA at Berkeley alumni and majored in Philosophy. In her previous life, she was a Realtor and still holds an active liscense in CA and an inactive one in Idaho. She loved Real Estate, and feels that it was a perfect training ground for becoming an innkeeper. She uses many of the same skills she developed in her realty business now for her innkeeping venture. Margot loves people and likes to make them happy. She also delights in cooking. She feels very lucky that she can wake up every morning looking forwards to the excitement of another day of inn keeping and meeting her many and varied guests from all over the world. Margot also plays the piano; is an artist; reads considerably; has traveled extensively; loves to ski and play at other outdoor activities; and gardening. And best of all, she feels so very lucky to have Hugo, her little black toy poodle, in her life.
