For the health and courtesy of all our guests, The Vine Street Inn
is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed in or on the grounds.
ENJOYMENT AT THE INN
For all guests, feel free to use the downstairs of the inn and
the gardens.
There are games, cards, and such in the bookcase in the dining
room for guests to enjoy.
RESTAURANTS AND WINERIES
For fine Paso restaurant dining and winery locations,look through the "restaurant" and "winery" information
baskets in the inn's living room. The innkeeper will gladly make reservations
for you and help you plan your wine tasting touring and any other touring
you may wish to do.
WATER CONSERVATION
Due to water conservation, towels will only be changed every 3 days and
sheets on a weekly basis; of course, it goes without saying, that they
are definitely totally changed for each new guest.
AIR
CONDITIONING
All accommodations have an A/C unit. Please turn off the A/C when
using hairdryers, etc. The main area of the inn is cooled by a water
evaporative unit which cools amazingly well.
ROOM HEATERS
Please make sure that the portable room heaters in the inn's accommodations
are in an off position when gone. DO NOT HAVE HEATER ON WHILE USING
CURLING IRONS OR BLOW DRYERS. IN THE COTTAGE, DO NOT USE BATH CIELING
HEATER WHILE USING CURLING IRONS OR BLOW DRYERS.
PROBLEMS
If you discover a problem with your accommodation, such as not
enough hot water available, plumbing stoppages, etc.,don't be shy
and tell the innkeeper. That's the only way she'll know what needs
to be repaired. However, kindly do remember that this wonderful
Victorian was built in 1878. Though much of it has been renovated
and updated, there are many things that still need to be treated
with tender care such as not using too much toilet paper at one
time, etc.

CHECK-OUT
Check out is at 11 a.m unless previously arranged. Rooms may be assessed
for damages and guests may be charged accordingly. Smoking in a guest room
is considered as damage due to the expense we incur to remove the odor.
VALUABLES
The Vine Street Inn is not responsible for loss of any money or valuables.
It is also not responsible for "left-behind" items.
HOW TO SAVE SOME MONEY
Book and pay now for a future stay of 2 days or more and get a 10% discount.

Kindly don't forget to sign guest book found on large buffet.
CHILDREN
For the courtesy of other guests, only
children over 12 are allowed in the main inn. Younger children are
allowed in the in the fully self-contained cottage. Parents are advised
to bring their own cribs, high chairs, and whatever else would be need
for kiddie maintenance.
Pets
Well behaved and groomed dogs are allowed
at the Jasmine Cottage. Guest dogs are not allowed in the main
inn without innkeeper's specific permission. Yard play is fine but
of course, poop pick-up is required by the dog owners. A
deposit is required in the amount of $200.00 - at the time of reservation,
and refunded after inspection of the cottage after stay.
